CIOs of India (powered by ISMF) has always been at the forefront of adding value to the Tech community.
Founded in 1996, we have come a long way, building on our roots to provide selfless service to our fraternity members. As a mark of gratitude for our grand past and for the passionate support we have continued to receive for our initiatives, we began a lecture series in memory of our forum's founder president Late S.R. Balasubramanian. Unlike our other engagements, this lecture series is primarily focused on areas of larger socio-economic interests including Sustainable Development, Water Conservation, Climate Change, Ecological and Cultural Issues and more.
The First Lecture in the series was delivered by Padma Shri Prof Shekhar Pathak on "Know Thy Himalaya", The Second Lecture was delivered by Padma Shri Dr. Sunita Narain on "Twin challenges in a climate risked world: Sustainability and affordable, inclusive growth", Third Lecture wasdelivered by Padma Shri Professor Pushpesh Pant on "Food, culture & politics-a spicy cauldron". These topics are of utmost importance to our generation and our future generations, exploring various facets of society.
