As many of us would already know, Yoga builds strong synergies between our body and our mind. It improves our body strength, balance, flexibility and stamina. Pranayama, an ancient practice a central component of Yoga, is an excellent exercise for physical and mental wellness. In Sanskrit, "Prana" means life energy, and "Yama" means control. You purposely inhale, exhale, and hold your breath in a controlled, regulated sequence and boost oxygen supply to your body while removing toxins. This is of utmost importance in current times.
Other Therapeutic benefits of Yoga as outlined below are best achieved if done as a routine, under the guidance of a trained instructor:
